Food here is really quite amazing. It's basically fine dinning level quality, but the vibe isn't white table cloth at all. It's homey with even some shared tables going on. Drinks selection maybe a bit limited, but the food is great especially the sticky toffee pudding.
Everything is perfect at Ffwrn, the most amazing venue with the best Sunday roast. It's not over complicated, it's warm, friendly and a a perfect atmosphere. My favourite haunt in Fishguard, credit to Alice and the team at Ffwrn.
Quite possibly the best Sunday lunch ive ever had, absolutely savoured every part of this meal guys. thank you so much.nnAlso starter of smoked tomato, feta and olive tapenade was sensational.nnDelightful and enthusiastic staff, gorgeous dinning room, great portion size, very well priced and dog friendly. one of the best kept secrets in West Wales.nnWell done guys, and see you again soon hopefully.
This is a wonderful restaurant, which is well hidden behind the wooden doors of a former chapel. Inside it is spacious and delightful. The food is extremely good and cooked to perfection. Very delicious. The atmosphere that night was quiet with a gentle buzz from other customers. The prices are reasonable too. I can wholeheartedly recommend Ffwrn.
What a gem of a spot - and a real tardis! It’s beautifully decorated, has a lovely ambience, and the Sunday roast I had was exquisite. One of the best I’ve had in a long while. Great service too - I always like a place that will happily refill your gravy jug nnI highly recommend a visit if you’re in North Pembrokeshire. And to Fishguard in general! Bill Bryson is a big fan I’ve heard - a good enough testimonial!
