Great café run by great people, all the bread and cakes are baked in-house. What more could you ask for?

We visited Corner Cafe due to a recommendation. We were very disappointed, we had booked our table for 8pm, the waitress stated that they would make our children chips 'but they didn't like to do this' this I feel should have been stated when we booked the table. We then waited 1hr & 15min for our food, whilst we were waiting, we were sat on a table near the entrance and overlooking the kitchen, there were occasions that the chef would shout and use language inappropriately especially when there are children present. We paid for our meal which I felt was expensive for 4 main courses and 3 alcoholic drinks. They did however refund us for our children's meals, which they hardly ate as were to tired after waiting so long for our meals. The food was nice when it arrived but as stated the atmosphere and waiting time overshadowed the meal itself. We won't be visiting this restaurant again.

Good food not the best but very close. Prices are reasonable. Would call again when passing.
