Incredible food and such nice staff!! The food is so very different to anywhere else, the flavours are interestingly mixed, it's not your standard restaurant/pub food. Some of the flavours were surprising but really good, it's definitely a restaurant for a special occasion. Great presentation. The staff are all so very caring, happy to have a chat, make recommendations, very polite and friendly. Good selection on drinks, including quite a good selection of 0% alcohol drinks. Everything is local as well. Prices are good for such a special experience. I can't believe such a restaurant exists locally, you could imagine the chefs working in London in a really posh places, it is that special here. I'll definitely be coming back for more.

Fantastic pub, with a wonderful atmosphere. Beautiful dining hall and delicious food. Staff all very friendly and welcoming. Food came out quickly, weren't left waiting around at any point.

Lovely dinner out at the Gloucester Old Spot. Not a great choice for my GF pescatarian diet but what I had was tasty – especially the dessert charred pineapple with mango sorbet and coconut cream. Decent service, nice wine and surroundings.

It's a lovely pub/restaurant with a lot of character. Really feels like you have gone back in time, very cosy even down to the candlesticks on your table. Great place for a family meal or date night. Their portions are very generous and they have plenty of options to please everyone's taste buds. My fiancé chose the pie of the week which was chicken and chorizo which he really enjoyed he said the crust was perfect. I got the chicken Kiev which the waitress recommended I was very full by the end of it, it was really nice and crispy, the potatoes were perfect and so was the spinach! For drinks I had apple juice where the apple came from the local farm. For dessert we had a warm treacle sponge pudding, again a big portion. It had plenty of sauce and fruits, the cake had a nice spongey texture not too dry but not moist either. Our bill came upto about £50. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

I found my purpose to life, the food here withe the calming rustic atmosphere is amazing the flavours are amazing the price was amazing my wife and I where in food heaven. My mouth and taste buds are still in shock how amazing everything was. We are 100% returning

Fantastic food and setting! The presentation of the restaurant is amazing and the decor we as very nice inside.  The food was delicious and whoever made the pesto deserves a raise, dessert was equally tasty and worth the slightly higher price we'd normally pay.  Service was quick and the waitresses were polite and to the point. Look forward to finding an excuse to come back here

I'm not in the area very often, but when I am I make sure I visit for a great pint and tasty meal.  Plenty of parking and a welcoming staff. There is lots of space to sit outside in the shade.  Food has always been very well cooked and delicious. No complaints and no leftovers!  The team is very friendly and welcoming, making it an enjoyable venue.

Visited with family for the first time in many years. As good as i previously remember. Well worth the money for the food and a good supply of local cider and ales too.  Highly recommend

Nice pub, very cosy with a log burner, food was reasonably priced. The pork bap was lovely, very tasty on a nice sourdough bap, only thing it could have done with was a little gravy to add some moisture.

A great night! I spent the week changing my booking 3 times at every call the were completely accommodating. The food was amazing the service was second to none and a great atmosphere. Could not recommend highly enough. Take the time and support this great business 5  and a manger who knows what is the best for her customers a talent rarely seen I my experience
