Had a fabulous meal here. Considering it was busy the 4 of us didn't have to wait long. Lovely setting right next to the canal. Can sit in or outside. Smashing waitresses too. Great place to meet up with friends for a great dina!
Typical Sunday lunchtime around 12 but not crowded. As you can see in the picture, the portions are a bit modest, but maybe just for me. Service is good but could do with an extra staff. Waiting time for a meal was about 30-40 minutes. Nice place to be and enjoy a meal/drink.
Great service. Super busy, lovely food. Dog friendly pub! But the drive to the carpark is right next to the canal and also doubles as the pedestrian route in so is not for the faint hearted.
Idyllic location by the canal with loads of seating albeit sunny or under the trees. Indoors is also lovely. So gets really busy. Bar staff friendly. However, food at least for the vegan options is disappointing and not great value for money. As per pic, the koftas I am sure were just microwaved and were not nice with unwashed salad from a bag no doubt. Great place for drinks and snacks however.
Stopped here on a bike ride really nice pub friendly service. I didn't eat but you can sit outside right by the canal. Well worth a visit and I will definitely be going back to visit soon.

Jane was amazing today. Only person behind the bar today and yet took complete control even against unforeseen circumstances. Managed to provide and excellent service …. Don’t know how she provided a seamless service but she did. Well done!
Me and my partner went to the globe yesterday for the first time in a long time. They seemed to be short staffed considering how busy it was. There was a lovely lady named Jane and she was so lovely, she took time to make sure everyone was well, and enjoying their food. She seemed very upbeat and like she wanted to be there, she is a credit to the company and she made our experience. Will defo be visiting as she made us feel so welcomed
Lovely hosts. great food. Fabulous service & very helpful when phoned to book as we were in a 7m motorhome.
