Just spent the weekend in Durham and spent a night at the Georgian Town House. The hosts couldn't have been more welcoming, helpful or friendly. The two bedrooms we had were spotless and very comfortable. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the Pancake Cafe next door. Would stay here again if we visit Durham.
Beautiful decor, elegant taste, run by a classy couple. Delicious breakfast too, with salmon and asparagus. Felt very spoilt.
I stayed here for one night with my sister and we had a really comfortable stay. The place is beautiful and quaint. The food is amazing and Lucy made us feel really welcome! Loved it and will stay here again!
Excellent little pancake shop. I had the bacon and maple syrup which are just delicious. The waitress was very friendly and went out of her way to be helpful. The prices are also very reasonable and portion size is plentiful.
Wonderful, warm, welcoming experience in a lavishly decorated and comfortable room. If you don't need a place to stay, why not come for the pancakes? The vegan pancakes are divine. Thank you kindly, Louise et al. Highly recommended.
