The only menu item you need to order at the Riverview Kitchen are the banoffee pancakes. Superb texture, fluffy inside yet the right amount of crispness on the outside, see for yourself from the pictures I posted. Oh, and the urinal is special too - never seen a beer keg used like that before.
Another day off and another trip to Boro central and one of the best places to have a bite to eat. This time we had a croissant and a panini and it was great, simple as that
A must stop off during a walk along the banks. Owner welcomed us and made sure all his guests were safe during their visit. Great tea and cake alongside fantastic service. When we leave scotland again to visit the south, this will be again on our list. Thank you for your kind hospitality.
Lovely decor and gorgeous views of the river. Only had cheese scone and coffee on this visit. The scone was warm and very cheesy. Other food being served looked delicious with good portion size. The stack of pancakes looked particularly good.
Friendly staff, great food, great view when you get a window seat. And people bring their dogs in which I think is wonderful!
