Superb place to eat. Family run business and dog friendly.
Very nice atmosphere and food. Very impressed with the service as well.
Best scones and service in Durham. A real treat for visitors and regulars. Ideally located on the walkway up to the Cathedral. Cosy and welcoming on the inside. Highly recommend for morning and afternoon tea!
There isnt a choice for a zero! Manager/owner was very oxious and rude. Only interested in herself. Clearly this is relayed by the way the staff are rude .I believe this place would benefit in a new fresh body of staff and to look more into customer based rather than profit based. You need customers to make a profit .
Lovely quaint little cafe. Good choice of food even for coeliacs gluten free diet. Large servings and very friendly staff. Look forward to coming again
Amazing deals for a full English and coffee in the morning. The cakes are huge but while impressive, usually means they're very dry. This may depend on how long they've been on display, but I've had 2 bad experiences.
Popped in for a cuppa yesterday and tried the pancakes with fruit and ice cream. Fabulous
Outstandingly good in my experience - the full English breakfast is a great deal. Also the coffee is good along with the significant portion sizes with the cakes. They do some gluten free stuff and are dog friendly too!
