A fly in visit, one night. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. We had a room at the top of the hotel, there is very narrow steep steps to get it. The room was clean, well presented. The ceilings were low could be a nuisance if tall. Lots of plug sockets, and storage spaces. A comfortable space, I would recommend. A fair price to for a night.
Property is in a great location. Pretty close to beach. We got a sea view room which was breathtaking. Staff Olivia was extremely friendly and very helpful. She was pretty informative and suggested us some great locations to visit. We had a memorable stay and will definitely visit again. Walkability: Very close to beach.
Amazing Sunday roasts - with our friends we had the chicken, beef brisket and vegetarian. All were excellent with generous portions. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. They also put on one of the best pub quizzes in Hove on a Thursday night.Service: 5/5
Absolutely perfect for the stay that we needed and a little bit more than we needed. Not in the center of Brighton but that didn't matter to us as a taxi was only a 10-15min journey but you can also get good food and alcohol at the The Gather Inn - what more do you need? Add into the mix very welcoming and friendly staff, we will definitely going back if we ever have a night out in Brighton again!
We had a wonderful Christmas lunch yesterday at The Gather Inn . The Turkey was melt in the mouth and the Christmas pudding was absolutely delicious. We had the pleasure of being served by the delightful Becky that kept us very entertained by her unusual and interesting facts. Fantastic experience will definitely be returning.Rooms: 5/5
Reasonable prices for the area and a nice quiet location. Only downsides oddly enough is perhaps the water in the shower was too hot! Very friendly staff and spotlessly clean. Beds were slightly on the soft side. Rooms: Average sized room similar to a travelodge. Stayed in the attic which has lower ceilings but notified when booking and not too bad for a short stay Nearby activities: Around an hours walk from the centre of Brighton, or 14 mins on average in a taxi at around £8 so not too bad. Located in a quiet spot on the sea front. Not much to do in the immediate area but a nice quiet location. Walkability: About 1hr from the centre of Brighton on foot according to google. Plenty of paths along the seafront nearby if you want a stroll in the evening before settling into your room. Food & drinks: Plenty of tea and coffee provided in the room. Sadly no breakfast but over the road is a good little cafe.
Lovely lovely staff! Always an exceptional roast, great selection of drinks and local breweries. Would highly recommend for a cosy night! Great view over hove lagoon and the Brighton coastline! Thank you again!Service: 5/5
Had a lovely stay. The location was affordable, neat, and had clean rooms. The pub downstairs severed good food with friendly staff. Located right off the coast. Definitely would stay again.Rooms: 5/5
Lovely little hotel. Shared a room for 5 people and found it a little snug but overall very happy for the price we paid. Also wasn't a lift to get bags upstairs Would stay againRooms: 4/5
Went in for a few pints, the beer is good. Could do with a draught beer as everything was on tap. Had a fab time. Went back again for a very entertaining pub quiz, with a great host and bar staff and very friendly locals. Will be going back next time I'm in the area, Thanks!!
