This was my favourite pub I went to on my brief Manchester trip. The craft beer selection was really good cask/keg and the staff were very personal and friendly which made the whole experience even nicer. It's a cool subterranean place!
Cool little cellar bar. Staff are very helpful n friendly. Especially if you bring a dog in! Lots of whisky here and lots of interesting beer. Cool little place, steeped with history. It does have a back seating area also if it looks busy when you first go in!
Cool pub with great drinks and nice chill ambiance to hangout with friends. The music is good and not so loud so you can actually talk easily.
Great beer bar. I would expect the atmosphere to be better once C19 has buggered off.....other than that...fab.
First time visit and very easy to walk past without knowing its even there. Apparently this was an old Victorian drinking den. A great range of drinks ales and beers and friendly staff its well worth a call in for a pint or two.
A gem of a find just off deansgate! Great place for craft beers , and where you can actually talk to people. An old soup kitchen from the 1800s its glazed tiles give it great authenticity. If you like the Palace bar, you'll LOVE this on. Top marks.
Great little pub, stopped in for a couple of drinks early on a Saturday evening. Unique place to stop for a drink, decor interesting and unusual. Lovely atmosphere, good bottle and draft selection on too. Staff were friendly.
Superb ales, sours and tequila in a dim and cosy basement setting
