Fantastic refurb,made to feel very welcome on the relaunch night.This pub is ideal for all occasions.Plenty of parking.The landlady mentioned the rear garden will be attended to in due course but if the inside is anything to go by its going to be fab extension to the rest of the pub.

Poor service. Booked a table for three for Sunday roast, arrived, seated only to be told no roast!!! Grumpy looking woman, with really poor communication skills apologised and said it was because they were busy. I questioned that because we had booked and reserved a table that shouldn't have happened. To be honest she didn't care, she walked off behind the bar and said nothing else to us. 
We did mail the pub and got a similar reply from a guy called Gerry. Not even a offer of a drink or similar on them to recompense our Sunday drive, fuel and time taken. 
Asked if I would like to try again? No Chance!! 
Well done, a so called local family pub. Keep doing that and you'll get even fewer people coming in.
