Great place to watch football. Plenty of TVs, decent selection of beers available, but the food is very average. Generous portions are on offer, but the quality is what you would expect for the price. Nice all-rounder, but would probably only head back for a game.

Nice, friendly, clean and cosy English pub. I'm in my late 30's and come here regularly with my friends and family.

If I could give a lower rating, I would. As soon as last call was called, we were bullied out out of the pub. Having brought a round of drinks when last call was called, we assumed that we would be permitted the amount of time to drink our drinks. This, however, was deemed unreasonable by one of the barmen in particular (Harry? Or Oli?) who decided to attempt to take our drinks away from us at 5 minutes intervals. Which obviously added to the overall enjoyable atmosphere. If this wasn't enough, this barman then administered intimidation tactics in the form of physically standing over us (which caused my friend, who suffers from anxiety, to become so uncomfortable, she was willing to leave without finishing her drink etc) and also kicked another one of my friends in the leg by doing so. I challenged this barman by stator g that there were other people in the pub who were not receiving this treatment - to which the response was that the other people were locals? Thus suggesting preferential treatment to those who lived closer to the pub and threatening/discriminatory practice to those who do not. I would not wish such treatment on my worst enemies.
