"The Fitness Store was established in 1987 and since then our showroom on Union St. in Plymouth has become the premier outlet for gym and fitness equipment in the South West.Since we started trading we have gained an extensive knowledge of the fitness industry. We have been a supplier to the Royal Navy and Royal Marines in various bases and ships, both in the UK and abroad.We supply a wide range of fitness equipment from all the top brands for use in the home, in commercial premises, education premises, physiotherapy gyms, clubs and leisure centres. From a simple skipping rope to the largest treadmills and training machines, we stock it all. We even supply equipment and clothing for sports teams."

We purchased a life-fitness multi-gym, bike, bench and weights from Paul and the team and due to our own circumstances delivery was protracted. Paul always remained in touch, delivered and installed as promised and all equipment was delivered as per contract and specifications. Great company and you can trust them with big ticket orders.
Recently purchased a treadmill from Paul at The Fitness Store for over £500 within a couple of weeks it has a very loud creaking noise so much so we have stopped using it. I reported this to Paul over a week ago and he said he would inform the rep and get an engineer out. Having waited a week I still have not heard from Paul so chased up today to be told he had to send proof of purchase to supplier to get an engineer however he also said he would listen to another treadmill he had recently sold to see if that had a noise. Surely all that matters is I have the problem All I want is an engineer out to fix the problem but Paul has now said he will bypass supplier and get his own engineer to me but can't say when. So I currently have a £500 treadmilll that does not sound safe to use. Paul has now asked me to send a video of the noise to him but surely having reported this over a week ago this should of been requested then. Feeling rather concerned that I should of gone to a big retailer rather than a smaller company as it is proving very tricky to get a straight answer from The Fitness Store. I will of course improve my review should this matter be resolved anytime soon let's wait and see........ I am pleased to say that the problem has been resolved. Within minutes of posting this I have an engineer in the phone.
If you want to buy Local in this Country you want go Wrong with The fitness store. Paul and his team are so nice> just bought my 3rd piece of fitness equipment from them a Air Bike Tornado and its getting delivered free of charge.
