PureGym Plymouth

Always a great gyms. Good amount of equipment well maintained. Good space for exercising. The locker room and showers are always clean.

Clean, easy to use gym where there are plenty of classes for loads of things available. There's enough machines and equipment to go around, when it's busy it's busy but every gym is like that at peak times. Changing rooms are always tidy and the staff are friendly too.

I really want to give this gym 4 stars or more but it just gets spectacularly busy. Still, it has a great array of kit, friendly staff and is generally kept in good knick. It offers really good value for money.

So, I thought I had cancelled my direct debit but for whatever reason, it continued. Having not used the gym for many months, which pure gym is aware of, I requested a refund. They said they cannot refund. So, for 0% usage, they charge 100% cost! It would be nice if they had some sort of reimbursement criteria instead of bleeding people dry. A terrible policy in my opinion!
