Great facility, multiple rooms that offer Muay Thai, BJJ and a full octagon for cage wrestling. Separate workout room as well, essentially all the equipment you would ever need.
Hybrid’s 6 week challenge was brilliant! The family feel to the gym is both welcoming and motivational. The classes are planned well and tailored so that everybody gets a good workout, suitable to their individual goals and needs. With regular weigh-ins and nutrition advice it is more than possible to achieve your body fat loss goals. A brilliant concept, well executed. I’d highly recommend to anyone looking to change their body, mindset and lifestyle.
Amazing experience! Great gym that has it's own welcoming and supportive community with fun and challenging classes. I have gained so much from being a part of their 6 week challenge including better fitness and health as well as feeling more confident after trying different things such as boxing! Would definitely recommend.
I discovered Hybrid Performance Gym through a recommendation of their 6 week challenge programme, which sounded just like the sort of thing I needed, so I signed up. I had little knowledge of exercise or nutrition before starting the challenge but after only the first week had learnt a wealth of knowledge and felt the changes and benefits of the diet and exercise. The staff are on point and always happy to help you with any questions you may have. The gym classes are brilliant, a lot of fun, but also hard work, which they are meant to be. They are designed to get the best out of every individual no matter what their level of fitness is, and each class is different from the other which always keeps it interesting. Hybrid has a great atmosphere and every one, staff and members alike, are very friendly and supportive. I would highly recommend Hybrid and their challenges for any one that knows they want to make a change in their lifestyle but doesn't know how to get themselves started.
Staff are super friendly and helpful, will make sure you're comfortable at the gym and get a good workout. Facilities provide everything you'd need in a gym and it's never so busy that you can't have a fulfilling workout like in many of the bigger gyms around Plymouth. Overall I really enjoyed using Hybrid and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a quieter and more personal gym experience or wants to do martial arts!
Hybrid Performance popped up on my facebook advertisements as part of a 6 week challenge they were running. I needed something to get me back on track and this gym, all its staff and community have helped me achieve everything I needed to and more! Started seeing results after the first week with the help of their simple meal prep guide along with the 3 circuit classes per week. Highly recommend this gym if you are looking for a friendly supportive atmosphere to get back on track and to progress through whatever your goals may be.
Having just completed a 6 week trial/challenge I can easily recommend Hybrid. The staff are extremely approachable and supportive of you and your goals, always encouraging you and making recommendations as you edge closer to great results. The classes are really fun but also effective and cater for the whole spectrum of fitness abilites. The classes are different each session so you never get bored and are always challenging yourself in new and exciting ways. There is no judgement here, just lots of people making positive change under one roof. Facilities wise they have everything you need from a gym, some extra parking would be awesome but for a central gym they have more than most already. Definitely give them a try.
Completed the 6 week challenge. Great coaches and classes my fitness has vastly improved since joining the gym. They also offer BJJ and Muay Thai classes and have a good selection of free weights and machines. I highly recommend the gym.
The gym instructors and the class is what made me come back constantly, I get bored easily working out but the instructors connect with you in a professional friendly way and make it fun for you by challenging! I pushed myself to my limits and got rewarded by the end of the 6 weeks, and since I completed the challenge it was all for free! Hope to start working out again soon after I caught up with my studies!
The 6 Week challenge popped up when I needed it most... I was feeling so bloated, unfit and down about myself. Best decision I ever made was going in for my consultation! I lost 6.8% body fat and 11.2 lbs, all with the support of the amazing staff, and fantastic mixed classes. I've gained knowledge about getting the most out of nutrition and exercise and it's helped me kick some bad habits! I get bored easily so loved that each class was different, and they made a personalised gym programme for me to follow, as well as the included meal plan and support group to share tips, tricks and recipe ideas. The best thing for me was the inclusive, friendly vibe of the gym itself. Everyone gets stuck in, regardless of age, size or ability. Thanks so much, I feel like a new person!
