Had to send the soup back as it was cold. Staff were obliging to resolve issue. Parts of the pub looked tired, noticeable damage on walls, and carpets on the stairs looked off. Wasn't too busy at the time of the visit, but the tables needed clearing. Has the usual spoons value attached to the menu and several real ales priced at under £2 per pint. It's worth a visit. Wheelchair accessibility: Level access property.
My Son says they have a really nice bathroom here. Haha. Been in a few times over our stay here in Whitley Bay. Found a few real ales and craft beers I haven't had before. Played some boardgames with the kids, and stopped in for breakfast today. Few separate areas, with their own feel and atmosphere. Bright and light inside with large windows on either side. Nice place.
Thoroughly enjoyed a katsu curry and a cheeky glass of white wine before going to Mugenkyo Taiko drummers show tonight at Whitley Bay Playhouse. Sat in a lovely comfy armchair in a cosy corner. Never been here before, but I'll be back! Food: 5/5
Great pub. Went in here to meet friends, was really busy on a Saturday night. Very cheap both on food and drinks. We ordered our drinks on the app and they brought them to our table quicker than our friends getting served at the bar..Service: 5/5
As with all 'spoons, this is nice basic food at a good price. We found a clear table straight away on a Saturday evening. It was busy enough to have a good atmosphere and we still had prompt service using the app to order. Nice and clean, polite staff. No complaintsFood: 5/5
As usual had a great lunchtime visit, perfect pint of Shipyard, and only £2.95 which is amazing value. The place was busy without being rammed and the staff were very friendly and helpful as usual. Looking forward to our next visit soon.Food: 5/5

Tried this weatherspoons in Whitley Bay the beer is by far cheaper than others nearby and decent quality,staff nice and friendly not to much of a wait at the bar,did not try the food but others around me seemed to be enjoying it . Overall, nice enough clean pub with good staff tables constantly cleaned and toilets clean big + would definitely use again.
Good food, nice selection on the carvery, could have been hotter 1st visit , however piping hot the 2nd visit next dayFood: 4/5
Its a weathers pub what more can i add. This one is lovely inside and out. Always busy but staff didn't appear very friendly and some tables were left uncleared and the coffee machine wasn't attended to. Staff should notice when the machine needs attention ajd when to clear tables.Service: 2/5
