Great place for a drink or a meal. Interesting menu, great atmosphere, free and plentiful parking and wobble free tables. This is now listed in my favorite places for meal.

We really loved this place and went there several times while our stay on the camp site in Whitley bay. Food very british and great quality! Also a good variety of beer and whisky. Very nice atmosphere in the pub as well as on the terrace. and so lovely staff! Was great to be their guests!

Excellent food as usual. Never had a bad meal here. Highly recommended to others.

I loved this place! The people were extremely friendly. The food was very good. It is right next to the water. So the views are incredible! They locals there were very informative and gave me plenty of ideas of things to do. The staff was very helpful also. Most recommend not only for single travelers but for families too.

Lovely traditional pub. Open fires, nicely furnished, ideal place to warm up and have a drink after a walk on the beach. Very historic building too as it’s roughly ~250 years old !

We wenr 3 weeks prior and the food was lovely. Fast forward 3 weeks and the food was not so great. Fish and chips ok but tge steak pie was inedible full of fat. It was taken off the bill but no real apology we definitely wouldnt rush back sorry

Absolutely gorgeous pub full of character in a stunning location. Service friendly and food very good. A good selection of real ales, gin etc.
