Stopped by on a busy Wednesday night, but managed to get a table in the enclosed patio. The food was excellent and value for money. Only disappointment is despite plenty of staff being there, nobody checked in on us to see if our meals were as expected after they had been served.
This pub is a must the food and the atmosphere is amazing the staff couldn't be anymore helpful the chefs also need a round of applause they are the hart of this pub loads of seats outside also for the nice sunny drinks days pop in you won't be disappointed unless they are really full booking is the wayFood: 5/5
Firstly the food was faultless! Delicious and creative. The atmosphere Was so relaxed and decor very seasonal and pretty. The staff were all so attentive and friendly. Also very dog friendly , our dog loved his beef and gravy. Thank you . You have a very special place Vegetarian options: Lovely choice of gorgeous vegetarian dishes
Sat inside, what a lovely little quaint place. The food was delicious, I had the sandwich and soup on the Specials board. Presented very well. I also had the rum ice cream, delicious as well, definitely recommend, and will go again.Food: 5/5
Brilliant service, lovely atmosphere and beautiful food. My only complaint is that the portions were too big!Food: 5/5
Great service. Ordered Sunday dinners as a takeaway. Food was packaged up as soon as I got there. Came and had a meal during the week. Well worth the wait, as you know, the food is cooked fresh. Good decent portion sizeFood: 5/5
Excellent typical English food in a awesome venue in the nearby of the eastern shore of England slightly northern to Newcastle. The ambient inside is magic and the staff is really welcoming and professional. Excellent food and beverage served perfectly. We found this venue so good and magic we will come back here all times we will be in the region again. Fantastic.
I've been to the Beehive many times before, but this is my first visit fir Sunday lunch. I had the 12 hour slow cooked beef brisket and it was absolutely delicious, great Yorkshire pub too.. Staff are very friendly and polite. A definite must, but please book a table so you aren't disappointed. 21/10/23 - The Beehive is still up to it's ususal fabulous high standards. Food fantastic, staff lovely, friendly and helpful. Thanks.
Accommodated our party of six adults and two children easily . The food was fantastic with the portions being large you need a big appetite to finish the food the choice was vast and the staff were very welcoming and very fast and efficientFood: 5/5
Heard good things about the Beehive and it didn't disappoint! Having been for a walk to work up an appetite around the local, and lovely, Hollywell Dene, we arrived early as we had the nephew's with us and the staff were very attentive and accommodating. Food was excellent, cooked to a really good standard, the portion sizes were on the large size and didn't need to be quite so big because the quality was so good, I'd have happily paid the same for less! As you can see I struggled to even get the fish in the picture without the need for a wide angle lens! Will definitely be returning again and have added it to my armoury of top pubs to eat at in the North East
