Gorgeous food, beautifully presented and piping hot. Friendly and efficient staff in superb surroundings. Also amazing Sunday carvery with huge choices of meat and vegetables. All at very reasonable price. Definitely recommend.

Excellent food and service. Called in last minute on a Wednesday nice and quiet. Fast service of meals and drinks. Both of which where brilliant. The young girl who served us had excellent service and manners.

Had a lovely informal lunch at The Fir Tree with visiting family.Great friendly service. Good atmosphere for a long awaited get together. Food and drinks were excellent and priced sensibly. We had fun!

Had a lovely meal with the family. Staff are attentive and food amazing. Been a few times and food always consistently good.

Stumbled across this beautiful little pub and hotel on an impromptu trip up the country. Could not have wished for friendlier staff and a more beautiful rural setting. Cannot recommend this place enough! rooms are clean, tidy and well kept and the food is great and well priced. I would definitely advise a visit!
