Hidden Edinburgh gem, unassumigly tucked away in a quiet part of Portobello. Incredible selection of world wines, superbly knowledgeable staff, and a cheeky Mellis cheese selection that's very hard to resist!

Have just bought some cheese to take to a party in London. I was served by a very pleasant young man who went out of his way to be helpful - and I now know how to wrap cheese for a journey!

Every time I write a review, my old ones are deleted, but anyway.....It is always a pleasure to see the guys here, I dropped in again today, had the pleasure of seeing Adam for a chat and picked up another bottle of a little gem that I discovered here recently - Il Faggio, a very full and fruity red from the Abruzzo region, £10 worth of pure pleasure. I'll just repeat that this place is well worth the visit....the guys - Adam, Alex and Tim - are passionate about they do and know their stuff.
