The Ferry

The carvery was really nice, the staff were friendly and welcoming especially with my small children. The only thing I will say, is it could be cleaned a little better, the table needed a good scrub and they could definitely benefit from a hoover being run round, or even being swept quickly between customers. We will be back though, good value for money and good wine served!

Great starter offers. Good size starters. Pizzas are baked in proper ovens where you can see them being prepped. Guy cleans oven after every pizza very impressive. All members of staff are very helpful and attentive to provide what you require, overall a great experience and great pizzas too. Well done guys great service all around.

Fantastic meal today at the ferry, Myself and my partner were served by Jordan, who went the extra mile and nothing was an issue, delightful service by staff. We will be back extremely pleased with our meal :

Came for our Christmas lunch 10.12.22. We were greeted by Dean and shown 2 our table . We were then served by jorden molly and megan threwout the meal . Nothing was ever 2 much for them and they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.Even gave us crackers . Great service and the food was delicious. We had starter along with mains some carvery ,veggie and the burger stack but we were all to full for dessert. Not a problem they boxed it up for us to bring home . . Took my mother for a carvery as I had not had one so far this year, entered this nice pub at 11:55 and was eating by 12:05, the carvery was as expected, I tried each meat for a change, the beef just melted in your mouth, the turkey was nice and juicy and the gammon had just the right amount of saltiness to it, awesome roast potatoes and gravy, excellent mash and stuffing, can't wait to return in November

The food was hot plentiful and great value for money. Staff polite and friendly. Very busy at times but you can book online or by phone. They also do delivery through different delivery companies. Catering for disabled people as well.

10 days ago my husband & I went for a carvery at 2 pm. We chose our meat and noticed the vegetables looked dry and mentioned it and the chef rearranged a few dishes. We chose some and went to our table. They were cold so we asked if the meal could be heated in the microwave. The manager and chef then used a thermometer in the food and said the oven probably wasn’t heating properly. The lady took the plates away and returned 2 minutes later which wasn’t long enough for one plate let alone two. We couldn’t eat the meal and said so on the way out. The manager never even apologised. I wouldn’t recommend the Ferry and certainly wouldn’t go back again.

Service excellent lovely friendly staff, They couldn't do enough for you . Food was delish.we had bbq chicken ,margareta,chicken chilli pizzas also chicken and bacon beef burgerThey made sure people self distanced which made you feel safer. Can't wait to go back . Highly recommend . . .

Called here today for the first time after the rebrand to a pizza restaurant and have to say I was a bit disappointed. The food was good - I had a pizza which was ready within 10 mins of ordering but my daughter who ordered the 'help yourself' carvery queued for 45 mins for her food. There was a TV on in the middle of the restaurant playing football so people were shouting at the game which was disturbing. Despite the food being good and well portioned, and prices reasonable I Probably wouldn't go again.
