Excellent time sent here having a couple of drinks. It was full but not packed at around 10pm.
Gorgeous decor shame about the unfriendly staff and having to wait 40 minutes for food, a panini and 3 burgers although no one else eating.

Came across this bar while in Barrow for the football, very smart place, pleasant staff and a landlord/owner with a passion for locally brewed real ale. Really enjoyed my drink and good look for the future.

Food was OK but service was not good at all - cocktail pitcher leaked and most of it ended up all over the table and floor, had to ask for napkins to mop up, waitress dropped them on the table and walked off - had to shout her back, she eventually brought over a plastic pitcher and poured the remnants of the cocktail into that - no apology, no offer to refill the jug, just a surly "thanks a lot!" When I handed her the sopping wet napkins...no offer to help wipe the table - will not be back! No wonder it was empty

To be honest, any establishment that sells Loweswater Gold will get my vote. My wife tried the passion fruit bellini, which she loved. There was a great atmosphere and friendly staff.
Nice place to have a drink and relax in nice surroundings with excellent staff and good choice of cocktails
