"At one of West Norfolk’s highest points and on the outskirts of King's Lynn, you will find The Farmer’s Inn & Restaurant, a charming country-style pub with a warm welcome and excellent food and drink. These buildings were once at the heart of an impressive working farm. Now, alongside the original farmhouse, the stables and grain stores have been restored to house this delightful pub and restaurant. The history of the stable block has not been lost with exposed beams and numerous local prints and antiquities adorning the walls. The design is such that nooks and crannies provide delightfully secluded dining booths whilst the restaurant area offers more open plan seating."

Great place at a nice location with plenty of parking. Food was just average and taste wasn't great for a pub standard. Staff were good Chicken burger - 4*s Grilled Salmon - 5*s
Popped in for a lunch on a normal Monday during school holidays. Got a table outside for us and the two dogs. Meal came in good time and there was a good choice of real ales. We had the "Sharing Tower". Vegetarian options: Seemed to be a choice Parking: Big car park Dietary restrictions: Separate gluten free menu available.
The atmosphere was really lovely and the staff were very friendly. Been recommended to us from some friends who live by. Great to see a gluten free menu was available too. I chose the Mediterranean vegetable and tomato stir fry from the gluten free menu. It arrived and looked lovely however when on tasting it seemed to have a bit of a kick to it. Seemed like a sweet chilli sauce which was not stated on the menu. I thought Mediterranean would have been more tomato based so it became too warm in spice for me to finish which was a real shame as it was nice to have a better choice of food for a change. I don't know if it was a mix up on sauce at all.
Lovely food in a homely setting…Fish and Chips were superb…the staff were really helpful and friendlyRecommended dishesFish and Chips
I was very sad with our meal . We asked for medium rare steaks and they were over cooked and cold . The sauces had a thick layer of skin on them which means they had been sat there for a while . The plates were cold . The only thing that was hot was the new potatoes. We had a long day and we were very hungry so ate it . The fat that I left was as much as the steak I ate . This was my 55 th birthday treat from my husband, now he feels bad .
Arrived after a full day travel and work to be told at 8:30 to order fast as food finish at 9pm. A bar run by very young staff who were singing along to the background music, when my food arrived the gammon was cold and dry, the peas were cold the chips were dry. Not a single member of staff came back to ask if the food was ok, how is the food. I won’t be eating there again.
I use to love this place a few years back but the food isn't to the good standard it use to be. It's a lovely rustic country pub with a relaxing atmosphere. Their roast is good but drinks are extortionately priced and their wine selection was much better 3/4 years ago but now a cheaper quality which I don't now purchase.Food: 3/5
The food was quite good but need to do something about the size of there coleslaw very small portions and not very well presented. The only person who looked happy and pleasant was the girl seving the drinks.Food: 3/5
Really impressed. Lots of different seating options in various rooms and alcoves. Nice selection of beers. Make sure you check the specials board behind the till at the bar as there are a lot of extra dishes.
Wow ..WOW !! Just had their Sunday Carvery, which was out of this World. A choice of 3 meats, an enormous selection of vegetables....I need a lie down Excellent price, excellent food and excellent service in a wonderful ambience 10/10.Food: 5/5
