We have been here several times and have always found the food to be good. Today was a triple birthday celebration and we booked a table for 15:00 and we practically had the place to ourselves. All of the food came out together and was hot. The staff are friendly and polite, well worth a visit if you are in the area.Food: 5/5
Hadn’t booked and they were busy but still found us a table, staff were lovely and the food excellent thank you so much, will definitely remember to book in future so nice to find some where so good. Parking: Was very busy but ample parking.
Good menu but they can be a little slow on a weekend, don’t get mad just because they are busy the staff are working hard so just enjoy your time there. The fish is huge and fresh so a good choice if you don’t fancy a roast dinner.Food: 5/5
Called in recently for an early dinner on the A47 on the way to Kings Lynn. A friendly pub & made to feel very welcome. Had a very generous tasty Hunters Chicken washed down with some local ale. Will pop in again when the opportunity arises & definitely recommend. Vegetarian options: Reasonable selection. Parking: Generous off road parking.
Lovely Father's Day lunch. Staff brilliant and coped really well with how busy it was. Love that you can ask for more gravy etc if you want it. Vegetarian options: Nut roast is lovely even for our meat eaters, they like it Wheelchair accessibility: Level floors Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian choice available
Just want to thank the staff for being so kind to my very stressed dad and my children when they broke down opposite your pub. My children were treated incredibly well and your kindness was a real comfort for them. Thanks for giving them sandwiches and letting them use your WiFi and electric. Really put my mind at rest knowing they were safe. Thanks xx
Reasonably priced Sunday roast, very friendly staff and dog friendly. Pork was really nice but unfortunately the lamb was fairly fatty. Nice selection of veg, roast potatoes, yorkie and extra gravy.Recommended dishesSunday Lunch
Not the friendly experience we were expecting after reading their webpage. I did give two stars to the young lady who endeavoured to find us a table inside after we were covered in thunderflies outside. Unfortunately, i was treated by the bar lady with hardly concealed contempt, and a condescending attitude towards my drinks and food order. I am a mother of 3, which is hard enough at the best of times, all i want is a smile and a beer at the bar! We visited on Saturday 24th June, and will not be returning.
We were in kings Lynn on a small break and drove past, phoned to book and we were so glad we did. the food was outstanding, I had the steak and ale pie, Mrs and daughter had turkey dinners and toddler had a small turkey dinner. my only regret was having a big starter, the starter was great, beef chilli nachos, but I wish I had more room for the pie, meat was so tasty and melted in the mouth in a rich and smooth ale gravy. the chips were cooked perfectly, soft and fluffy middle and crispy on the outside. I could go on the same about Sunday dinners too. We managed to squeeze in a piece of chocolate brownie which my Mrs and toddler shared, big thumbs up. just wish we lived closer to visit again. very happy with whole experience, staff were kind and welcoming and we were served quickly which is great for anyone with a toddler
Just popped in for lunch as passing through. Great food quick and friendly service. Definitely go again, maybe evening time.Food: 5/5
