Lovely country pub which I first visited on 6th January when I arranged to meet up with the family following the sad passing of our brother and where my brother's Wake was held yesterday as this was his local pub where he often met up with friends. Very inviting cosy environment which I have no doubt my husband and I will return to when we are in Kings Lynn.
Booked for approx 20 people. 12pm. Arrived 11.40 was shut. It opened at 12 on the dot .seated in the conservatory part to accommodate the group, very pleasant out there. Food arrived very quickly! Pre ordered and was very good, I had salmon which was not dry or overcooked at all. In fact was perfect. All seemed to enjoy their food..pleasantly surprised, will definitely go again
Been over Christmas for meal with family. Serves a good point of bitter, but larger tastes liike vomit and food not much better. Standard of pub Seriously in decine. Not that cheap. Better going to one of the restaurants in town.

A nice night in the garden, away from the throng of what was a very busy bar. Had the Roast Pork main, which was cooked to perfection. Later we sat inside. Some great traditional British Ales were available, as well as a huge variety of gins. Would recommend that you make a reservation if you wish to sit inside.

We went on the off chance with friends having not been before. The menu looked basic but WOW. What a surprise. The food was delicious, well presented and plenty of it. Good value for money. We will go back if we're in the area.
