Would love to have given a better rating. But after passing through recently and stopping for food (which was very lovely 4*) we witneesed some astonishing behaviour from a young lady toward other staff. Show that one bad apple will lose you money.

Was told our room was ready but the bed sheets hadn't been changed from the previous couple. The room hasn't been cleaned at all, there was glass on the floor and paper. Was offered another room. The bed had been changed but again hadn't been cleaned properly. We saw other rooms which was better. We booked direct with hotel but got the worse room with no heating. Such a shame as the hotel could do so much better just by cleaning the rooms. The staff were vert helpful. But will not be returning.

Lovely place warm and welcoming and food is amazing all bedrooms are ensuite bathrooms . Dogs are welcome in the bar :) staff are lovely and friendly

As usual we visited during our Saturday at Straw Bear. All 11 pubs in Whittlesey were showing the spirit of the event with beer tents as well as the bars but here they were the only one to spoil it by greed. Beers advertised at £3.50 a pint at 10p more than most but didnt show on their price listing that they were charging £4.00 a pulint if having 2 halves. None of the other 10 pubs did this. A total disgrace and not in the spirit of the event!

Always visit the falcon during strawbear festival they always have a great selection of ale.
