Family friendly bar restaurant. Managed by a capable Australian who knows about hospitality. Good selection of beers. Menu is burger oriented with a few other pleasant surprises. Dogs welcome. Can get very busy so book a table to be on the safe side.

Great bar and restaurant. Great views. Ask for table at window. Great menu. Now downsides. Toilets are minute. Can't swing a cat. Every time we get ignored after they give us the mains. We fancied perhaps dessert and another drink last night but staff were nowhere to be seen. Oh well. U also have to go and find staff to pay, which is ridiculous. They redeemed themselves when i fedback and produced a muffin for the pair of us!! 😊

The "Espy" is situated on the promenade in the historic seaside town of Portobello, Edinburgh, Scotland. Not only is it a great wee pub/ restaurant, but the food is great, the staff are friendly and views in any weather are fantastic. They also do film nights. Well worth a visit

I've had many great visits to this place. The food is very good. The staff have always been very good. It's very child friendly providing lots of games to play. It's very dog friendly as well.

After a busy day stopped off for a drink here. It was very busy but very nice. The staff are extremely polite and friendly. The decor was interesting and the bar staff answered my random questions about the place. Would def pop buy again if I'm ever in the area.
