It's such we lovely place. The food is reasonably priced and the staff are so friendly. The only thing I heard a customer say is that the young guy serving should have shorter nails when serving food, which is correct. The young lady with the vintage jumper on was really nice. Will return.

A quaint 2 storey tea rooms in the centre of Halesowen in the Black Country. Serves a wide selection of sandwiches homemade cakes light lunches. Service friendly and attentive. Orders came quickly. Tea served in traditional way. Teapots milk jugs and bone china cups and suacers. A range of coffees available. Portion sizes pretty large. A cream tea came on a 2 tier cake stand with sandwiches scones cream jam. The full works. Jacket potatoes served on a large platter with salad and generous fillings. I went with a group of colleagues for a lunch. We sat upstairs . The seating was cramped and it would be hard to have a discreet conversation. To get to the bathroom required everyone to stand up shuffle around etc. My scones whilst nice tasting were straight from the oven and so impossible to spread anything on them without falling apart. As an enthusiastic scone lover this was disappointing. The staff were exceptionally obliging including bill splitting. If you are looking for a bit of escape from. Shopping in the centre of town and want watch the world go by, go here but I don't recommend for groups beyond 4. Some limitations for people with mobility problems and I wouldnt take young children.

Quaint little place with beautiful China cups and plates. Staff member was friendly but wasn't very helpful- We spilt a drink and asked for cloth to mop it up, he disappeared but when he returned he was doing another chore. I then went and asked for a cloth and was given 1 napkin, when I suggested we'd need more (large spillage) he gave us another 2 flimsy napkins. Some of the food was a little over cooked. Will probably return as the range of hot chocolates looked amazing and will need to be tried!

The English rose tea room is one of the nicest tea rooms I have visited there hot chocolates are to die for and they make a lovely cornbeef sandwich. It is a very clean place and charge reasonable prices it is a very friendly atmosphere and the staff are lovely people with amazing qualities they are always dressed smartly and are always very polite. It is a great place to just go and relax or have a catch up a friend or family member and is a suitable place to take child as they don't only cater for adults but for children to.
