Had an excellent meal here – couldn’t fault a single thing. The service was fabulous from start to finish, with staff who were friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was spot on. Nothing was too much trouble.nnThe food was cooked to absolute perfection and came out piping hot and beautifully presented. You can tell they take real pride in what they do.nnThe atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the whole place was spotless, and the team worked seamlessly together.nnA proper example of how good hospitality should be – highly recommend The Elm Tree!

This was a nice pub with a nice garden area with a park for the kids. The food was good. However the fish and burger were a little overcooked. Nice, but also a little more pricey than others in the area.

Just had lunch here. Really can't praise it enough. The staff were really friendly. The service was speedy. The food was exceptional - home cooked chips and very big portions. Lovely views from the back and the building itself is really very pretty. We are a family of 3 and have very different tastes in foods, but it easily catered for all our preferences. I would highly recommend.

From the moment we walked in, the customer service was absolutely fabulous — warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive throughout. The team couldn’t do enough for us; nothing was too much trouble.nnOur food was cooked to perfection, piping hot, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. You can tell real care goes into both the kitchen and front-of-house here. The atmosphere was great too — relaxed, friendly, and exactly what you want from a proper pub.nnThe place was spotless, and every member of staff we spoke to was polite, professional, and clearly proud of what they do.nnHighly recommend The Elm Tree — we’ll definitely be back!

Not bad at all.nFood selection was quite wide and varied, as was the drinks menu, service at the start was very fast and friendly and food came out surprisingly fast. food wasn't bad at all but wasn't as good as recommendations we'd had led us to believe. Lasagne was quite bland, brisket was unfortunately very dry and sticky toffee pudding didn't really taste of much at all. unfortunately at the end of the night we became somewhat ignored and took quite a while for us to get our receipt and pay despite the pub not being very busy and there being more than enough staff on. since all of the staff looked quite young I'm assuming that not all of them knew how to use the card reader / give a table the final bill. Might be back because the menu is genuinely very attractive and the starters was fantastic.
