Not been in before, but event in store by Scary Little Girls introduced me to this hidden world. Lovely atmosphere, cosy area for small show and wine on entry was a nice touch.

Gorgeous independent bookshop, warm and friendly vibe and beautifully dressed windows. My partner and I came to Penzance on holiday and bought a Wild Swimming guide from this shop - absolutely loved it! Will be going back again before this holiday is over.

Brilliant bookshop at the edge of the world! Went in searching for a couple of niche books and met Rupert, who was full of great aphorisms and even greater recommendations for my Madridian friend. He very kindly ordered in our original books and rang us to collect the morning after as soon as they arrived. Was one of many lovely interactions with the people of Penzance!

This bookshop is the hidden heart of Penzance. A truly beautiful space with a very broad selection of books. The staff are all welcoming and very helpful ¬ never too busy to chat, recommend or generally just talk about books, or life, or everything. My favourite shop in PZ. Excellent.

I love this bookshop! It's always at the top of my list when i come on holiday to Cornwall. It has such a variety of books from popular to local artists and the staff are always friendly and enthusiastic too. Don't think I've ever gone in without leaving with at least one book

Great choice of books! I could have spent hours in here just looking at all the interesting titles they had on display.

Lovely space and filled with wonderful books for readers of all ages. The shop needs to carry a full line of branded accessories so visitors can recall the quaint place. It should create and sell EotWB bookmarks, bookbags, bookplates, and sweatshirts.

A beautiful bookstore, exactly what you want. Lovingly laid out, great range of books to peruse through and a nice selection of cards too. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

This is an excellent little independent bookshop in Penzance. Although a small space, it is crammed with a good selection of books & stationery.
