I love this little gallery, and make sure to visit it any time I'm in Penzance. The standard of the artwork is always superb, the place has a lovely, peaceful atmosphere, and the staff are friendly and helpful, without being in any way intrusive. Disabled access is pretty good, though the museum part is not accessible to wheelchairs or scooters. There's also a nice little cafe, and lovely grounds. All in all, it provides a relaxing and enriching experience. I heartily recommend it. ☺

Reasonable priced and a pleasant location. However it rather depends on your definition of art. We went into the lower gallery that could have been a staff cloakroom. There was quite a nice table and chair and some fishermens clothing hung from some quite nice pegs. Upon closer inspection it seems that this was actually the art exhibition. Undeterred we went upstairs to another well lit room. Here there two ladies knitting. The cafe looked nice but it was closed.

Excellent coffee shop with the best views and friendly staff. The art is separate and there's a shop with interesting items downstairs.
