Really enjoyed stopping in here as I saw it had just re?opened a week before. Had a great dinner and drinks catch up with a friend. Not too busy though it was the following Thursday, watch out! It's the new Friday I guess and not massively overpriced, very tasty. Attentive staff, though would be great if they could cut back on the love/darling for half the clientele - I find this really off-putting, though your mileage may vary! It's a hard time to open a pub, so support your local establishment! It's cosy and central without being in a mega busy area, near exmouth Market, Farringdon and Kings Cross as you can see. Would stop in again for sure. Vegetarian options: Definitely a good selection of veggie stuff to try.
Amazing food, best roast dinner I think we have ever had. Great friendly service and best of all, dog friendly with a beef roast for dogs. They enjoyed every mouthful. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu
Hadn’t been here in years. Now under new management, it was a great spot for a weekend afternoon pint. Very friendly and attentive staff with terrific taste in music. Menu looks great too.
Great food, friendly & attentive staff, reasonably priced food, music not so loud you can't hold a conversation. Vegetarian options: There are a load of great vegetarian options in the sharing/tapas menu. An extra couple of vegetarian options in the mains wouldn't go amiss.
Fantastic pub with great food and super friendly staff who made us feel very welcome! They were accommodating to dietary requests from our group and we are grateful for that. Will visit again.Recommended dishesSpiced Veggie Burger
Super cosy place with a lovely ambience – ideal for conversation with just the right amount of hubbub. Not at all a boisterous pub, but a warm, homely one, which is definitely my preference. All the staff are brilliant, but my friend and I had the pleasure of being attended to by Oliver and so an extra special shoutout must be given to him, who went above and beyond for us! : We thoroughly enjoyed his friendly company – made us feel like regulars despite it being our first time. Eleven out of ten for service! For Oliver alone, I would return. Add in the tasty food and price? I'm definitely coming back!! :D Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who asks! Can't wait to try the Sunday Roast!
A good selection of lovely food, a good selection of beers, and friendly, helpful staff. Dogs welcome too. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
Very nice place, the food was lovely - £13 for a Sloppy Joe's burger, sweet potato fries and a glass of wine which is very reasonable! Very welcoming team and love the cosy booths to hang out in with friends..
What a wonderful place to discover! A great pub with the most lovely, helpful staff. Great beer but not on Cask at the moment. A great place to go and have a pint or glass of wine and some food.
