Nice cosy place to meet and drink at. Very casual and really good service too. Plenty of drink and cocktail choices and decent food options to accompany. Not too loud so you can still have a good conversation. Worth visiting if near the neighborhood.
We visited this quaint cocktail bar while staying in Kings cross London. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the decor, and the biggest surprise was the downstairs area, just a shame it wasn’t open due to the season. We had a couple of gin cocktails and a delicious Charcutere meat selection board, which was wonderful. Prices were good to. Would highly recommend a visit if your in the area.
Had a lovely time at this bar for cocktails last night. Great music and atmosphere. The service was really friendly and efficient. Very tasty cocktails with a good selection
Didn’t even know this place existed until this evening. I only ducked in to get out of the biblical rainstorm that was taking place. What an absolute find. This has to be one of the nicest, coolest and most welcoming pubs in North London. I was soaked to the skin when I arrived but the guys behind the bar offered me both a towel and seat next to their real fire to dry off. Dimly lit, elegant place playing fantastic, laid back 70’s music. I can’t say enough good things about my brief visit hear. But the lady and gentleman that served me really made it such a great experience. So friendly, so professional, an absolute credit to whoever owns the place. There was train strike today so I had to get the bus from the stop across the street so after a couple of bourbons I was on my way. But honestly, pay this place a visit. Outstanding on every single level! Thanks guys.
I recently celebrated my birthday at The Racketeer, and we had the most wonderful time! The service is excellent -- I was even welcomed with a glass of champagne upon my arrival. The atmosphere is perfect -- cozy but elegant, subtle holiday decorations, beautiful vintage furniture with lots of warm and welcoming textures and colors. And the drinks are insane -- we all agreed they are the best, perfectly creative but not overwhelming, cocktails we've had. Thanks for an amazing evening!!! We will 100% be back.
We went here for a drink before a Valentines night meal. We were welcomed well even though they were fully booked for dining. We explained that we just wanted drinks and they made room for us. It's a beautiful pub with a stunning Victorian interior and original tiled flooring at the front of the pub. There was a beautiful scent of insence too and atmospheric lighting. There is a small courtyard at the rear which would be nice to relax in during the summer. The staff were chatty and friendly. We stayed for two drinks. The wine list is varied and of a good standard. We were also given free bar snacks. The food menu is a choice of sharing platters which looked good but we didn't try them as were eating elsewhere. We will return here though and try the platters next time.
Came to hang out with a small group of friends and we all had a great time! The bar itself is cosy and had great decor, as well as a vast array of drink options. The food was also great, I would just say its more snacks with your drinks as opposed to something that will fill you up I would recommend if you are near King’s Cross and want to go somewhere with a bit more character as it’s not far from the station at all.
While it's hard to pinpoint any particular reason why this place is so wonderful, but it is. The decor and vibe are elevated yet comfortable cozy, service is wonderful, drinks are good, bites are yummy, and it's not overly expensive. There's also a cool room outside the bathrooms of all places that you just want to hang out in. Will definitely return.
Tidy little bar tucked away in a quiet spot. We were there on a Saturday evening and the atmosphere was just right, not rammed but a pleasant buzz i.e. you can hold a conversation without shouting. The bar staff were very friendly; enjoyed chatting with them while waiting for drinks. Prices are as expected for a London cocktail bar.
Such an awesome place! I hired the basement room for a Jazz themed party and it was perfect. Super cool joint, and the downstairs cocktail bar was amazing, with Francesco being the best bartender.
