Amazing atmosphere! And fabulous food. We visited Sunday and there were lots of people, but we didn't wait too long for our food. Presentation 5+. This is a dog friendly pub, I don't have a dog but it is so nice to see people's best friends around.Food: 5/5

Had a really good roast here! It did take a while to get to order but the staff were all lovely and in fairness they were super busy. Good selection of drinks and great menu!Food: 5/5

Food was fine, but they don't do any kind of take away so we couldn't get doggy bags for our food when we had to leave early. I found this shockingly wasteful. Also do not order the foccacia; £4 for four 1 in by 1.5 in pieces of bread.Food: 3/5

Spent my birthday at The Duke on one of the warmest and sunniest Sundays I've ever seen in October! Staff were very friendly and hospitable throughout the stay. They were unsurprisingly busy - but 7 of us never felt like had to wait long to order, for the food itself to arrive, a non-invasive status check to make sure everyone was happy... and for regular drinks top-ups. Atmosphere was lovely, lots of dogs there also and had all the feels of a chilled vibe that draws residents and visitors alike. Look forward to going back soon :

Great place for lunch any day. The menu is compact and offers a great selection, including veggie options.  Good selection of quality wines and beer.  The staff are incredibly helpful and polite.  The venue is spacious and light.  There are a few tables outside, which are in a coveted area.Food: 5/5
