It is what it is. A very traditional back street boozer, basic but clean and well presented. Beer was good, service prompt and polite. Shame about the roadworks but that is hardly the fault of the pub!
A good traditional pub. Decent beers at expected prices. Staff very good and friendly. A place you can sit, talk, and relax .
A lovely old-fashioned London pub of a kind that is sadly disappearing, with an excellent range of beer.
Spent the better part of a Friday evening here with colleagues and was a nice environment to drink and watch the rest of the day pass. Not a bad selection of beer and very nice service. I wouldn't recommend the washroom - it was pretty gross.

Spent a Monday evening here with 2 work colleagues and I must say it is a beautiful pub with an ambient atmosphere. There is a clock on the wall that was found on the original site after the war and has been kept in its found condition. Would recommend this pub to anyone!
Proper honest pup in the middle of London, no frills here but nothing wrong with that. Beer kept and served with a passion in a small area, room outside if the weather is assisting but just a normal pup experience
My husband and I ordered 1 cider and half a pint of diet coke. In total we spent £8. I think that it was a bit too expensive for what we got.
