Cozy, strict rules, quite expensive but I only managed one drink before the new curfew anyway haha!
Excellent pub, nhs discount. Amazing staff. Would definitely recommend!
A great Victorian pub with a pleasant atmosphere. Staff are welcoming and efficient. Beer selection is eclectic, 4 casks on offer. A good pub! The John Harrison plaque is only a few minutes away.
great pub in a nice location - visited over christmas. food was good and nice selection of lager and ales. must say the manager I believe, guy with long hair was very helpful. knew loads about the beers and nice manner - credit to the pub.
Got here after the kitchen closed so can’t say how the food is. The staff are LOVELY, they pull a great pint of Guinness and they are very Covid conscious and it feels safe.
Excellent lunch; fresh, cooked to order fast, and a friendly service on more than one occasion. 5 star hygiene rating from the FSA and from us too. Recommend the pizza! Proper
