Solid experience, friendly staff and ownership. Got to spend time and have a conversation about the locally sourced foods and enjoyed the connection to the people and land around. Also a damn fine cup of coffee. Seen it very busy before and the hard work shows. As a service industry professional myself I was impressed. Keep up the good work.

Best flat white I've had in a long time. Nice staff. Full english kept me stuffed all day and was cooked perfectly.

Went for breakfast this morning and had a very disappointing experience. On arrival we noted that it was very busy but thought we'd try anyway. When we went in it all seemed very chaotic, there were waitresses running around but nobody to tend to the groups of people turning up. Eventually a table got cleared but nobody was there to say who it was for or to seat anyone. We then ordered food and drink after sitting down. The food and drinks took a while to be served, but not so long that was that bothered (if you were in a rush this would have probably been too slow for you). Coffee was very good. The food however was a different story. The first time my food was brought out it was incorrect. When the food did come out correctly the hash browns were lukewarm and soggy, and the sausages had a very strange taste to them. They even forgot to bring cutlery so we had to go up and ask for it. Contrary to other comments on here I didn't think the food was that cheap either. It was £8.50 for a cooked breakfast which feels on the pricier side for southampton.

Went for breakfast here as it was on the suggested best place for breakfast. Very disappointed sausages were anemic and mushrooms sliced to thinly and dry. Won’t be going again
