Lovely cakes. Menu looked good but we just had drinks and cakes. The drinks were good too. Lovely, attentive staff. Pricey but comparible for town centre locations with quality produce. Would visit again and recommend.

Went for a Saturday brunch and there was a was a good selection of items on the menu. Staff were friendly and the interior was pleasant. It was a shame that the food wasn’t particularly enjoyable. The scrambled eggs on toast had too much butter all-round. Similarly the bacon sandwich was lacking in bacon compared to the size of the bread. Also the entrance door was permanently open which created quite a cold draught.

Very tasty sandwich for lunch and good coffee. Cafe was a bit chilly though and hard seats. Nice atmosphere. Cakes looked delicious.

I was disappointed today when I went to Homemade with my family. We ordered the pitta, humus olives with salad for £7.95 only to discover that it was more of a starter than a main course. The meal consisted of 1/2 slice of pitta which was not warm, a very small pot of humus, some olives and a very poor salad. All in all it probably only cost them £1 to make. What a rip off! Won't be going back there again!!!

Lovely little cafe however cramped now that the new seating has been put in. Advertises as family friendly but you’d be hard pushed to get more than one pushchair inside. There were no other customers when we arrived so quick table service. Echoing what several other reviews have said - it’s expensive for what you get, especially the size of the coffees!
