This place is gorgeous. We have been a few times. The food is usually top notch however our group all had pie and the crust was very hard. The waitress got us a round of drinks on the house by way of apology. We will go back though.

Lovely decor! Friendly staff and veggie (gluten free and vegan) friendly. Went for lunch and the sandwiches were giant!! Don’t even bother going for a burger as the sandwiches are bigger! Highly recommend.

Just popped in for a quick drink, would have like to try the food as I have heard good things. The decor is first class and has recently been refurbished. However I nearly fell over at the prices for the drinks. Come on over £8 for a pint and large coke!

Went as a couple (celebrating an ocassion) and were sat in a back room alongside a table for 10 with noisy kids running around and a crying baby. One other table for two was also in the same room. Poor choice of seating by the staff!! The Pork Belly did not have crackling as advertised. The beef & Ale pie was salty. The place itself is really nice and came highly recommended. I hope this was just an 'off day' for them. We will probably try again in the future but would definitely ask to be seated in the main dining area.
