Went in for a quick brunch after googling a place for pancakes. What a find. Decor is simple, with a homely feel. Service was prompt and friendly. Prices were fair and the food quality was fantastic. Could have easily walked out with all their cakes to boot! If you're in the area for breakfast, brunch or lunch I would highly recommend checking out the Lilypad Café
Just got back from here and we both agree we have just had the best meal we have ever had. The 14oz rib eye was out of this world as were the chips and onion ring's. The restaurant is lovely and there was an acoustic guitarist playing who was superb and helped make the evening even more special. If we could give it more than five stars we would. Once again thank you to all the staff who are so friendly. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Steve and Sue

Food great, fresh and filling. The food order was a little mixed up, but we sorted this. Had to ask twice for extra drinks/coffee. Nice relaxed place.
Fantastic brunch. The egg Benedict are delicious; the steak sandwich is just beautiful and the salted beef bagel super tasty. Highly recommended.
It was nice food, a little noisy and rowdy due to a table of around 12 and the food is a little pricey. The tables are small and makes you feel overcrowded when eating your meal, couldn't/wouldn't provide us with a bigger table. It was my first time visiting, I won't be in a rush to return but it was overall "ok". Not the best place I have visited but certainly isn't the worst either.
Amazing menu. All fresh and beautifully presented. Shelley was very welcoming and her cakes are brilliant. Lovely atmosphere and so good we have booked for tomorrow as well.
Drove from Belper to Chesterfield to try this place out! Had breakfast and it was lovely, I had Mushrooms on toast. It had goats cheese and cherry tomatoes with it, lovely tasting. Cap parking opposite as well. Make sure you reserve a table this place gets busy!
