Had friends raving about the tickled trout for a while and I wanted to experience for my self what it was like and my god they were right. The food that I had there was outstanding, I had the pig cheek tartlet to start with and the blade off beef for the main course and it just felt like I was in heaven the flavours that were in the dish was amazing and very well balanced nothing over powering and it was just stunning. My partner had the calamari and the day boat fish and she said that it was the best fish dish that she’d ever had. To finish the night of we had the apple tart tatin and it just made the night complete. Amazing staff the service that we both received was second to none would definitely recommend to anyone traveling around the Barlow area and we will defiantly be back soon.

Just made my second visit to your restaurant. First time I was in my golf club ladies party, had beef and it was lovely. As for this evening, my husband had blade of beef and said it was cooked to perfection, much enjoyed it. I had chicken burger however, and thought for £13 it was average at best. Service was friendly and efficient, but this is an overpriced burger in my opinion. All it really amounts to is the burger, slice of tom, pinch of lettuce, few fries and a bread cake. Mark up must be huge!

I had my work Christmas meal last night, it was the first time I've been and I would definitely go again! The food was amazing, beautifully presented and full of wonderful flavours. The atmosphere was really lovely and the staff were very friendly and full of smiles, which just adds to the fact that the Tickled Trout is such a great place to be

A lovely innovative menu, showcasing great local produce all expertly cooked. The specials are a taste-sensation...blade of beef and sea bass 10/10.
