Fantastic museum staffed by friendly enthusiastic people who knew their history and were only to willing to answer any questions we had. We had a very informative introductory talk from one of the guides explaining all that had gone on at the Cordite factory. Wonderful exhibits very clearly displayed. A must visit place for families with older children. The sacrifices, particularly by the women who worked there, absolutely amazing.

I was surprised how much information was packed into this small museum. The staff were friendly and the informative layout had kids in mind. There is a lot of written information on boards - we spent a couple of hours here and enjoyed it. It has a coffee shop too!

A fascinating museum for all the family. My two young children really enjoyed themselves here particularly dressing up in wartime clothes. If you are in the area you must visit this place!

A wonderful museum telling the story of how women in WW1 worked in immense danger to create the explosives needed to win the Great War. The building is modern, the staff are friendly and full of information. Cafe is good. Other contributers say that it is expensive but to be fair it's worth it 🍴🍰😋 Definitely worth five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
