I had all you can eat, great food. Staff friendly it’s been here years. Never knew about it as we used I visit family for over 30 years. Next time we are down will invite friends from Bude who we visited today.
After travelling up and down the country, as food reviewers, we found this little place, we wanted to try everything on the menu, we ordered with the young female waitress, excellent service from her although the male waiter was quite rude. We went on the Sunday as it was ALL YOU CAN EAT we tried to order mains to be too be told sorry it’s too much food he said that’s five dishes and there was 4 of us! We enjoyed it up until that moment. Sorry dancing taipan but that male waiter just ruins the business. All you can eat but get questioned on why we want 5 dishes. It’s not even like we left food, as we ate it all. Just ruined the whole experience, my partner was made to feel embarrassed.he then brought out 3 dishes and didn’t even bring out my prawn dish that I asked for 3 times avoid this place as it clearly isn’t an all you can eat. More like we will serve you what we think is an appropriate amount !!
Great warm welcome, very good choice of dishes & set menus. We opted for a set menu. Food is ok, I have had better. Had a pleasant evening.
Service was excellent, though soft drink provision could be improved with a drinks fridge and individual cans/bottles. Flat, room temperature coke from a previously opened 2L bottle around the start of dinner service was but the best start. Cold bottle of Tsingtao was a great improvement, though.
Fantastic meal went for the Summer Banquet, four starters and then Duck pancakes and then three main meals one which was Cantonese Beef with Special Fried Rice. The service was faultless and if you are finished by 19:30 you get 30% of your meal price
Food was nice, but, not the best Chinese we have had Waitress was friendly & helpful Restaurant was empty with only us in their which surprised us for a Saturday evening.
Love it here. All you can eat extremely good value. However, the last couple of times the service has been below par. Long waits for food.
Went here with my wife for a nice meal and heard good things about the 'All You Can Eat', however, the vegetarian options are extremely limited and we were left feeling ripped off after we basically paid £21 for 3 lettuce leaves and a tiny plate of vegetables too fill them with. The decor is very dated and dirty in places too. Wasn't overly impressed. The waitress staff were absolutely lovely tho. Quite possibly the restaurants only redeeming quality.

A lovely place to go for a group meal or just as a couple. The waitressinh staff are so lovely and friendly. They are a credit to The Dancing Taipan restaurant . The food is hot and delicious. The only negative they do not serve prawn crackers as part of your meal x
