Not being local, we were looking for something with a kick. Stumbled across this tucked away carry out. Wonderful, full of flavour, staff were patient. Could have done with a freshen up of the decor where you were waiting. Super food for the price. Highly recommended.Food: 4/5
Firstly opened my bag of food and there was a small eyelash hair on the lid of my meal, brushed it off and thought eh, its on the outside of the box... got about 2 minutes into eating my food and found another long hair amongst my curry, but from somebody's head. It made me feel gross and put me off my food entirely. It all went in the bin and I made some cup noodles. Solid waste of money spice guru, won't be returning.
I just fancied a curry and ordered a vegetable one from Spice Guru, along with egg rice and veg samosas. It was delivered in around 15 - 20 minutes and it was absolutely delicious! The amount of curry was generous and i couldn't eat it all, saving the rest for breakfast!! Will certainly order from Spice Guru again and look forward to doing so.
Ordered over £100 worth of food and unfortunately I didn't find anything authentic. The naans were sweet, the saag paneer was all cream and no spinach and the mint chutney wasn't mint. Not authentically indian.
Had a takeaway for 5 people here and everything was excellent... Traditionally mild dishes were mild just as they are supposed to be, hot dishes also spot on, breads excellent and everything very tasty. Definitely would go back.
Excellent food, freshly prepared. Accept cash only and not sure whether they deliver or not. Jalfrezi had some excellent chillies in it
First time ordering tonight & was ok. Personally thought it was too pricey for what we ordered. Recommend the onion Bhaji but not the Bombay Potatoes. The curry didn’t have much spice to it but still enjoyable! Overall would order again & do recommend trying :
Delivery order for 20+ people, arrived within an hour, still hot. Everyone enjoyed and not a single item missing
Wow absolutely amazing take out. Awesome service, quickly done, very reasonable price and the best curry, rice, poppadoms, and dips we had for a long time....highly recommended. It was delicious We are staying at Parkdean, St Minver and so easy to pop in , order and take back to site awesome yummy grub thank you
Absolutely banging Curry! Definitely recommend to anyone who appreciates a good tasty Asian dish! Ordered arrived quickly and was still hot.. We will be ordering again soon!
