I have been trying to visit this pub for the last few years and yesterday I finally managed to pop in for a quick pint whilst visiting Wadebridge. A lovely pub which is very atmospheric. Staff were pleasant and the service was good.Service: 5/5
Haven'tbeen there for many years, Traditional country pub in a quaint little village. Had the homemade steak pie, and it was excellent. I would definitely go backFood: 4/5
We had the most amazing Sunday lunch here yesterday, we arrived late as I had the wrong time stuck in my head we were on a short pre Christmas trip to see family here as we live in France we had a call to remind us of our booking, thankfully as I was thinking it was an hour later duh well thank goodness, I will go as far as saying it was the best Sunday lunch Ever, cooked to perfection roast beef and homemade horseradish cream, what a treat, lovely welcome and a fabulous afternoon spent
Gorgeous village pub tucked away in Egloshayle. Eaten here many times as the food is excellent. Amazing Sunday roasts. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Well worth a visit.Food: 5/5
Tucked away is this gastronomic delight. The home made beef and vegetable pie of the day, with tenderstem broccoli and new potatoes was well cooked and tasted divine. The 10 oz steak with vine tomatoes, mushrooms, home made fries and garlic butter was also very very tasty.
We went for a drink here but wish it still had the clocks & old fashioned look as we had seen online when the other owner ran it. Not many people in on the lunchtime Saturday. Quiet & soleless. Shame.Atmosphere: 2/5
