You will be well looked after here in a beautiful location with everything you need in well equipped, beautifully furnished accommodation. Second time we've stayed here and it was just as good as we remembered the first time.Rooms: 5/5
Had to cancel my stay which was a year in advance and unable to get any refund of deposit. I understand the terms and conditions but with a year in advance this is nothing short of shameful profiteering. Especially since they don't offer any form of flexible booking.
Stopped off here for a coffee whilst working. The staff we're friendly and polite. Prices are reasonable and the coffee was good, although my latte had a little too much foam for my liking. The décor is clean and warm. Edit: I've now eaten here and the food is delicious. I ordered one of the specials which was a mushroom, garlic and thyme soup which was very tasty, albeit a little heavy on the garlic for my taste.
We stayed here for a few days over New Year's and it was incredible! The rooms are a great size, the place was quiet and in a really beautiful location. I'd definitely stay again for a winter break.Rooms: 5/5
Had the most disappointing experience from the staff at this place. Went in with my wife and daughter for lunch and I was told we had to pay for food at the time of order. At the time it did not feel unusual only to find out soon that they were fine with rest of the customers paying after they had their meals. I asked why we were asked to pay upfront to the guy who served us to which the reply was “ sometimes we ask people to pay upfront. Don’t worry, we trust you”. We left without finishing the food. Quite disgusted that it ruined our whole day.
We visited in 2018 and still talk about this place. We arrived before they were open looking for coffee and were greeted with such hospitality. They let us in, gave us a hot drink and we ended up chatting for about an hour. Can't wait to one day go back.
The food was outstanding, for the price. Absolutely loved it here, a real little gem. It's not brilliantly signposted from the main road so keep your eyes peeled or use Google maps of course! but do stop in even if it's just for a cream tea. Great menu selection. Very pleasant staff. So glad I stumbled upon this place.
Easy access from car park. Good menu choice. Spacious eating area with front entrance seating more suited to those with mobility issues. parents using prams, buggies etc. Staff pleasant and helpful. Good service.
Very fun location with delicious food. We stopped here for lunch after visiting the Culloden Battlefield and were pleasantly surprised by how wonderful it was! There is a fun play area for the children and beautiful fields surrounding. Definitely recommend.
Went for lunch today. Commented to waiter that it was busy and he mumbled a reply to me. Didn't even look at me. Waited for 10 minutes and nobody had even asked if we wanted a drink. We eventually got up and left. Shame as we've been a few times and enjoyed it. Think they need more staff on to cope with demand.
