Average Breakfast Ordered 2 x Scottish Breakfasts via the table app. Breakfast took 45 minutes to get to the table, could not find any staff members to ask what was happening. I managed to speak to a nice woman who did not have a clue what was happening and had to show her the confirmation on my phone as she was not aware of the order. When the breakfast arrived, everything had obviously been deep fried as my plate was swimming in fat. The taste and standard overall was not bad, just a shame about the wait and the quick turnout of the food. One observation was customers were helping themselves to hot drinks they had not paid for.......but then again, there was no one watching and if you are wating nearly an hour for your food, what do you expect!!!
HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!!! I WILL NEVER BACK! I stopped visiting this cafe a long time ago, after they brought me an order and served it with an unwashed knife and fork wrapped in a clean napkin, but i thought that several years had passed, the covid pandemic had passed, their furniture had changed, a new menu, maybe everything had changed to the best? I ordered 2 poached eggs with avocado on toasts, plus chips and sweet potato fries. Drink - coffee latte of course. I payed in kiosk 10.36£, have got receipt, left my things at the table and went to the coffee machine. When i stay opposite coffee machine and i want make my coffee, a cafe worker approached me and said that if i ordered poached eggs with avocado, they do not have avocado. If i want, instead of an avocado, i can have a second cup of coffee. I answer, one cup of coffee it's enough for me, i do not need second one. You can give me second one portion of sweet potato fries. He say me, ok. I maked my coffee and back to table. I was upset that i wouldn't get my avocado toast, but i was hoping everything else would be ok. How wrong i was... When the waiter brought me food, i was in shock. Two portions very dark sweet potatoes and burnt in places. Burnt 2 slices of bread and one fried egg. FRIED egg!!! Where are my poached eggs??? Plus the regular portion of chips. When i asked where my poached eggs, the waiter and another cafe worker, who was on this moment already standing nearby, said that they did not have poached eggs, they only have fried eggs. Then i asked, can i get my money back? They was told no, because you paid at the kiosk, not at the cashier. That's horrible. Why write on the menu that you cook food that you don't cook????? This is a robbery in broad daylight.
Awful! Just had breakfast with my husband. At code ordering system not ideal and self service for drinks,.. soft drinks machine not working. Staff mainly out back. When breakfast was brought out it was almost cold. Fried eggs not cooked properly and some type of bread on plate hard and dry. Paid £17.48 in total for inedible food and no service to speak of..it was hard work from start to finish and left hungry. Extremely disappointed and no excuse for this standard of good and service from Morrisons!! Disgraceful!!
Ordered 2 sausage rolls, waited 30 minutes and got 2 rolls with burnt and cold sausages. Very disappointing. This used to be a very good cafe. It wasn't even busy so no idea why it took so long prepare.
Food was shocking asked for chips with one meal instead of mashed potato got both with both meals..Pie was hard and gravy was so thick I could have walked on it ...Absolutely terrible didn't complain as we waited a long time for the 1st effort ..Never again ..You should be ashamed of what you served .!!!
I stopped on a quick visit to get some decent food and ordered the lasagna for only about £4.50. seems like a bargain. once it arrived i understood why it was so cheap, the top was swimming in bright orange grease. once that was gotten rid of, i found very little meat and sauce, mostly just pasta. A huge letdown. To make matters worse, the paper covid-19 track and trace forms were left lying around so you could see other peoples personal information. Morrisons, you need to smarten up on your GDPR!!!!!!!!
Having been in a few Morrisons cafes, this had the poorest service, however had the best system in place with the clearing and sanitisation of the tables. Ordered poached egg and smashed avocado muffin, came as solid slices of avocado on toast. We were passing thru so not somewhere we would revisit.
The food was ok but it was all cold which was very disappointing. Maybe it had been sitting for a while before it was served. The staff were very nice, we didn't complain as they were quite busy
Disaster for us, we could not work the tech stuff to order, there was no staff at check out although we waited to tell someone our order...surely Morrisons can do better than this...couple in their 70's...left to see staff blethering in the back...sigh
Highly disorganised, orders going to wrong tables, system for getting a table again disorganised especially if your on your own. Should be a gold mine if organised properly. I don't blame the staff, clearly poorly managed.
