Butlins? You don't get to stay in the main house but in pokey little Butlins style cabins crammed into the grounds. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything your neighbours say. The staff are your usual corporate 'fake' friendly" types and Socrates who manages breakfast is downright rude. It seems that he has been running the breakfast so long that he views the guests as his subjects to keep in order. Mixed opinions on the breakfast due to chewy, vinegar tasting eggs. The swimming pool and gym are nice.I

Great place to stay in a small community and in the middle of nowhere. Main building is historical building. Lovely grounds.
