Just had a delicious burger here for lunch. Really good buzz about the place even though it was a Monday. Staff were very friendly with big smiles - couldnt have been nicer. Great spot and I will definitely be returning again soon. Thank you.Service: 5/5
Nice place, good food, good service. Location makes parking close by difficult but worth the effort. Deceptively large inside but the atmosphere was just right. A bit of a buzz but quiet enough that you could easily have a conversation. Child friendly too as we had our 3yo with us.Food: 5/5
£9 calamari starter - 3 overcooked pieces covered in thick dry breadcrumbs. I had the £24 fish for mains which again was dry and tasteless. The entire meal had no flavour and left an oily taste in my mouth. If it had been cheaper I wouldn’t have forced myself to eat it. Service was great and staff lovely.
Had lunch at the Cross Keys in Sherborne on a Friday afternoon. It was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back again.Service: 5/5
Great night with Helen Mcgann teaching us how to taste wine and getting very merry at the same time . We enjoyed it immensely .Food: 5/5
Lovely family meal here. Very attentive staff who brought more olives for us upon request! Food was delicious.
We arrived at 5.00 and asked for a child’s menu for hungry two year old - we could not have had a better experience. The young man who served us was so helpful in every way possible, rushed to get a high chair, made everything fun and certainly did not see us as a nuisance! As a result my grandchild had a happy time and my daughter and I had a very special time. Big praise and thank you to the waiter, he could not have done more for us. The Cross Keys definitely caters for all ages!!
Food was extremely over priced, calamari was undercooked and softer then jabba the huts belly, burger was dyer then liz truss's personality. The Liz truss burger coasted £17.50 and the jabba the hut calamari £9. I had to re mortgage the house before making the payment, my pint of larger had 4 inches of head which made me feel like I was at Starbucks and just ordered an ice tea frappe with extra whipped cream.
After it being recommended the sunday lunch was totally unappetizing. Tough beef reheated roast potatoes and bland veg. Ice cream ok. Not an experience we will chance repeating.
we had lovely roast and stay at the cross keys lovely cosy room and very good customer service, will definitely recommend and visit again
