Queens Arms Inn
"Set in the picturesque village of Corton Denham, just 3 miles from Sherborne, this elegantly furnished 10 Bedroom Georgian pub has always been a popular destination. With a seasonally changing menu offering pub classics, as well as a la carte, there is plenty of choice to suit everyone. A great selection of ales, beers and cider and a well thought out wine list."

A bit of a fiddle to get to down the narrow country lanes but it's a fantastic historic characterful pub that greets you. Great friendly service and delicious high quality food. A bit pricey but it's definitely worth itService: 5/5
The best pub food I've ever had - superb and generous servings, including plenty of gluten free options and lovely kids meals. Even better was the welcome we received from the team - they couldn't have been kinder or more helpful, in a really genuine way. Highly recommended.
Had an amazing Sunday lunch. Really lovely food and great service. Suspect that parking could be challenging on a busy day but would recommend for a lunch 100%Service: 5/5
First visit; so only had time for a drink. My kind of place. Candle lit tables and extremely well decorated. Very quiet. Friendly service. Studied the menu and was impressed but maybe only eat there on special occasions.
Just had a first class lunch here. It was Wednesday and the place was buzzing with a mix of locals and those clearly hunting down the excellent food. Thoroughly enjoyable on all fronts and we will visit again soon. Thank you!Service: 5/5
How lucky were we to find this wonderful little hotel…The food was divine, The service, not only impeccable, but charming and attentive, very friendly. Thank you to the staff for making our stay soo special.
If you want a pub with a cheery welcome and reasonably priced real ale The Queen's Arms Corton Denham is not the place to go. It is a well-maintained set of buildings with excellent facilities, well-kept formal gardens and reasonable parking facilities. But as a country walker, who visits at least 70 pubs a year in South Somerset and Dorset, and uses these as a base for circular walks, The Queen's Arms does not offer value for money. We expect to pay between £10 - £11 Oct 2022 for 2 pints of local real ale and two packets of crisps. However, yesterday, the same items cost £13 at this pub. The beer was the very basic 3.6% local real ale which we have drunk regularly at other pubs and so can compare with confidence. If you want to pay for the excellent facilities of this pub which is situated, like many others in this area, in wonderful countryside then The Queens Arms is for you! If you like a more traditional pub with good quality ales at normal prices then go elsewhere. There are plenty of pubs to choose from within several miles.
The room was cleaned before we got there, but we found a broken glass behind the curtains +the toilet roll was not replaced and a bed side lamp needed a new bulb. Breakfast was good and plentiful.
Just stayed for a couple of nights, most enjoyable it was too. Large comfy room, very friendly staff, food was good, decent ambience.
Outstanding pub with sensational views. All the staff can't do enough for you. Lovely cider on tap and food is banging. 10/10 would recommend
