Went down with my partner for evening meal. Been here on numerous occasions and yet again left absolutely delighted! Had the pork and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Was cooked perfectly and was really tasty. My partner had the duck and she also loved it. Portions are really good and we both left very happy and will both definitely be returning to gobble up some more food! Definitely value for money. Real cosy friendly atmosphere which compliments the superb food. A star.

Ok so the portions are pretty big, but this menu hasn’t changed in over 10 years. The service staff were great, no complaints there, but the actual menu was old, dated and so boring. Where is the imagination? Where is the healthier options? Everything is very meat and cheese heavy. Most of the options have some sort of cheese sauce or come covered with cheese! I wouldn’t go here if you were a veggie for sure. Yes they have 4 options but again, no imagination. The meals are pretty expensive for what they are too. (Gammon and chips £16) the whole atmosphere of the pub could do with a face lift too. It’s old and dated. So go here if you want a safe boring meal you could probably well make at home for half the price. I won’t be going back anytime soon.

Fabulous place. Welcoming, cosy and fantastic staff. Food is amazing. Good menu and everything ordered was if the highest quality. Compliments to the Chef and his team.

Friendly. Lovley food. Won't come away hungary. More than enough food. Visit many times. Great place. Recommend highly.
